Show that math is everywhere, especially on the 100th Day. Assign students the task of finding people whose ages total exactly 100. For example, a student might have a 32-year-old mom, a 35-year-old dad, a 9-year-old sister, a 3-year-old brother, a 10-year-old cousin, and an 11-year-old friend. If someone has a very small family, suggest he or she look around school for people. Whenever a student turns in a completed list that has the correct total, give either a “Math Sums It All Up” Silicone Bracelet or “Math Is Cool” Dog Tag.
